Manager, Sales & Marketing Contract Period: Feb 2027 - Sep 2027 (Maternity Cover) Location: Changi Airport Sales & Marketing Manager We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to accelerate the growth of our travel retail business. This is a pivotal role responsible for driving sales performance through strategic partnerships, data-led omnichannel strategies, CRM activation, and innovative marketing initiatives. You will play a key role in shaping how consumers engage with our retail ecosystem, while delivering measurable commercial and business outcomes. Working as part of the Singapore Market Team , you will sit at the intersection of marketing strategy and execution, business performance, CRM, and commercial growth. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, agencies, and senior management to develop and execute initiatives that deliver tangible results. What We’re Looking For To excel in this role, you should: Be a 360° marketer with strong experience in driving retail spend and consumer engagement through integrated domestic and travel-related initiatives.
Have a strong track record in CRM strategy and execution , with the ability to translate customer insights and segmentation into measurable business growth.
Demonstrate proven commercial acumen , with experience conceptualising and executing innovative sales and marketing initiatives that deliver measurable ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Marketing Strategy & Planning — 20%
Conduct holistic strategic analyses, including competitive landscape assessments and detailed business diagnostics, to identify insights and opportunities that shape the sales and marketing roadmap.
Leverage CRM capabilities and customer data to activate relevant customer segments and drive sales and commercial objectives.
Develop clear, concise, and compelling proposals and presentations for senior management, securing alignment and approval for strategies, budgets, and business cases.
- P&L Ownership & Business Analytics — 20%
Own the P&L and ROI performance of sales and marketing initiatives within your portfolio.
Lead the development of business cases, approval papers, investment proposals, and post-campaign performance reviews.
Establish robust tracking frameworks to measure initiative performance and ensure reporting accuracy.
Monitor business performance on an ongoing basis and recommend data-driven actions to optimise results.
Partner with data analytics and technology teams to strengthen data integrity, reporting capabilities, and analytics pipelines.
- Sales & Marketing Execution Excellence — 50%
Lead the end-to-end development and execution of sales and marketing initiatives, covering campaign strategy, stakeholder management, contract negotiations, vendor management, and agency coordination.
Develop comprehensive business cases with clear commercial objectives, investment requirements, and ROI projections, and present recommendations confidently to senior management.
Adopt a data-led and commercially driven approach to planning, executing, and evaluating initiatives.
Retrieve, analyse, and interpret a range of business and customer datasets, including digital analytics, dashboard reporting, customer behaviour, traffic and footfall metrics, conversion rates, and sales performance indicators.
Translate data and customer insights into actionable strategies and optimisation opportunities.
Apply A/B testing and other experimentation methodologies to rigorously assess and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Governance — 10%
Lead cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders to optimise project delivery and maximise business outcomes.
Build and manage strategic partnerships with external organisations, agencies, and commercial partners to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
Manage appointed creative, media, events, and other specialist agencies to deliver integrated and effective marketing campaigns.
Ensure initiatives comply with relevant governance, procurement, risk, and approval frameworks.
Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline, with 7–10 years of relevant experience in holistic and integrated marketing roles, ideally with strong experience in strategic partnerships.
Strong hands-on experience in: Data Analytics — minimum 2 years: Proven ability to design and optimise initiatives through extensive data analysis. Experience with business intelligence and visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent platforms.
Sales & Marketing with P&L/ROI ownership — minimum 3 years: Strong commercial orientation and demonstrated ability to deliver measurable financial outcomes.
CRM Strategy & Execution — minimum 3 years: Experience in customer segmentation, targeting, lifecycle activation, and data-driven engagement.
Marketing Leadership — minimum 3 years: Experience developing 360° marketing strategies and engaging senior management.
Marketing Operations & Execution — minimum 3 years: Proven track record in project management and leading initiatives from strategy through to execution and evaluation.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and drive alignment.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to develop clear, concise, and persuasive business proposals.
A collaborative team player with a strong sense of ownership, commercial mindset, and commitment to executional excellence.
