Project Director - IIoT, Connectivity & Cloud Platforms

Brief Summary:

We are seeking a Project Director who will spearhead the digital transformation initiatives, driving the vision of autonomous manufacturing through the development and deployment of advanced industrial software platforms across global manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and implement the vision for autonomous manufacturing, establishing a global standard for innovation in manufacturing.
• Develop strategic technology roadmaps and present business cases while ensuring alignment with emerging technologies.
• Collaborate closely with global teams to capture customer insights, requirements, and use cases.
• Manage relationships with top management to ensure appropriate tracking of business impact.
• Oversee compliance and technical support for software development partnerships.
• Create a culture of teamwork that empowers employees and aligns with company values.
• Define requirements for scalable deployment of foundation platforms, including IIoT and cloud technologies.
• Design resilient middleware platforms for global manufacturing support, leveraging major cloud services.
• Architect and integrate best-in-class AI and MLOps solutions with mobile and IIoT applications.
• Promote reusable technology capabilities focused on AI and intelligent automation.
• Collaborate across departments to support large-scale application development and smooth adoption processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Over 15 years of experience in industrial connectivity, IIoT platforms, cloud technologies, or digital manufacturing.
• More than 8 years of experience in leading engineering teams to deliver large-scale technology solutions.
• Proven experience in implementing global industrial connectivity and middleware platforms across multiple production sites.
• Expertise in designing cloud-native architectures on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• In-depth knowledge of MLOps, AI infrastructure, and enterprise integration techniques.
• Familiarity with edge computing, event-driven architectures, and container technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL, alongside modern web technologies.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and enterprise analytics, focusing on industrial data integration.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and infrastructure as code.
• Excellent leadership skills with a strategic mindset and the ability to influence executive stakeholders.
• Demonstrated passion for emerging technologies, particularly in AI, cloud computing, and autonomous manufacturing.
