About the company
Our esteemed public healthcare client in the West region is seeking to hire pharmacy assistants/ technicians to join their team!
Your tasks
- Assist in processing medication orders, including typing, packing, labelling, and distribution
- Perform billing functions to ensure cost and revenue recovery
- Counsel patients on medicines via tele-consult under pharmacist supervision
- Monitor and maintain drug inventory levels
- Receive, check, and verify deliveries against documents
- Perform stock receipts and issues following FIFO procedures
- Provide quality customer service to patients and caregivers
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and prepare for daily operations
- Assist in onboarding and training new staff
Requirements
- Diploma in a Pharmaceutical Science.
- Service-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant experience in a similar role will be advantageous.
