Job Description An established employer is hiring a SENIOR CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR for its team. This role suits an experienced professional who enjoys managing large-scale precast yard operations. It is an excellent opportunity to oversee critical infrastructure fabrication and bridge segment erection work.
Your tasks
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the assembly and daily operation of gantry cranes and specialized rebar manufacturing equipment.
- Oversee the casting and repair of structural precast bridge segments using the short line method.
- Supervise the fabrication and erection of various structural elements like box girders and crossheads.
- Coordinate heavy segment lifting operations while ensuring strict safety standards are met on site.
- Perform technical inspections of structural shapes for all manufactured precast components and bridge elements.
- Direct complex post-tensioning work and manage hydraulic equipment usage during the entire production cycle.
- Report project progress updates regularly to senior regional management using professional Korean language skills.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Hold a Polytechnic Diploma or an equivalent technical qualification in a related field.
- Possess at least 15 years of hands-on experience in large-scale infrastructure and highway projects.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge in rebar fabrication, steel manufacturing, and heavy hydraulic tensioning equipment.
- Must be fluent in both written and spoken Korean to facilitate communication with senior leadership.
- Proven background working directly within a precast yard environment for viaduct segment production.
- Must be willing and able to work during night shifts to support the production schedule.
