Your tasks
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee all mechanical and electrical site installations to ensure projects finish on time and meet standards.
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and detailed cost quotations for upcoming project tenders and contract bids.
- Review technical drawings and documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory safety requirements.
- Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical challenges during the construction process.
- Draft and submit progress claims and running bills for review and approval by relevant project stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed project records, including quality checklists, submittals, and regular progress reports for management review.
- Track design modifications to update budget projections and financial forecasts throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of three years of local experience in mechanical and electrical construction.
- Proven ability to produce shop drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD 2D software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting, cost tracking, and general project administration.
- Strong written communication skills for managing contract documentation and client correspondence.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple project tasks simultaneously under pressure.
