LC, LC/MS/MS Chromatography Application Specialist (M/F)

The Application Specialist, acting as the technical and scientific expert for applications, collaborates with all field teams to develop, promote, and deploy world-class systems and tools.

He/she is the point of contact for Sales and Service teams from the prospecting phase through to after-sales. Through technical expertise, the Application Specialist contributes to revenue growth by identifying product evolution opportunities to meet market needs with high-value-added and differentiating solutions.

Main activities

• Create content and conduct training for field teams (marketing & sales) when new features/functionalities become available for LC and LC/MS/MS applications.
• Provide technical and scientific support to Account Managers during pre-sales customer visits.
• Perform product demonstrations (LC and LC/MS/MS) for customers at their sites or within our demonstration center.
• Support business development by creating/identifying and coordinating the implementation of Try and Buy solution opportunities/collaborations on innovative applications or critical business cases.
• Train customer users on the sold MatChar solutions (at customer sites or within the demonstration center).
• Develop customer applications and implement Perkin Elmer LC and LC/MS/MS solutions at customer sites.
• Ensure training and support for South Europe account managers and the reseller HTDS.
• Collaborate with Product and Service Managers to identify, communicate, and incorporate new product improvements aimed at providing customers with competitive, differentiating solutions.
• Characterize the external market by performing analysis and competitive assessments within specific territories and market segments.
• Identify and develop a networking strategy with all French VIPs/decision-makers for all market segments we may target.
• Participate in regional and/or national meetings by presenting PerkinElmer solutions to customers and assisting the sales department in responding to inquiries.
• Participate in conferences addressing innovations and the market that foster professional networking and collaborations.
• Specific professional knowledge
• Specialized knowledge of HPLC and LC/MS/MS technologies
• Experience in a similar position working closely with sales and/or support teams on LC and LC/MS/MS products
• Knowledge of techniques, applications, and the market for deployed MatChar instruments, ideally in toxicology and environmental fields, for example
• Intermediate level in MS Office Suite - Excel is imperative
• Creation and delivery of training
