About the position
We at Perido are looking for a Service Engineer for our client, a successful vehicle company. The position is located in Göteborg.
In the role of Service Engineer, you will switch between practical verification in a workshop environment and office-based work with documentation, meetings, and planning.
Your main tasks include:
Verify and evaluate technical solutions within, among other things, brakes, suspension, and steering in a workshop environment Review and follow up on methods as well as work sequences in the workshop Review performed work and ensure that it follows set standards and requirements Check documentation and images from performed work Prepare and formulate requests/work packages ahead of various activities Participate in technical meetings as well as collaborate closely with the workshop, other functions, and project teams Contribute practical and technical understanding in development and verification work

You are meticulous in your way of working and find it easy to familiarize yourself with new, complex systems and technical solutions. Qualifications:
Background as a mechanic (passenger cars or heavy mechanics/trucks) or equivalent technical experience Good understanding of how vehicles and technical systems work Good problem-solving skills and a meticulous way of working Ability to communicate well in English, both orally and in writing
