Perido is now looking for a Linux technician for our client, which is one of the larger banks in Stockholm. Here, you will become part of a tight group consisting of ten committed colleagues who all have a great technical interest in Linux, where 7 people are based in Sweden and the remaining 3 abroad. This position is located at the office situated just outside Stockholm city.
In the role of Linux technician, your main focus will be to support the bank's business division. Together with the group, you will work with the operation of the Linux/Unix platform. The system is a virtual Linux platform and your tasks will include upgrading, patching, and ensuring that the platform is stable. You will also support the developers in solving problems they may need help with when new features are to be integrated into the platform. Currently, the technical environment consists of, among other things, Linux/Unix, Redhat, Solaris, VMware, Python, and they use the Continuous Delivery process – and new tools are on the way!

Requirements profile
- Post-secondary education, preferably within IT
- Experience with Linux servers
- You express yourself very well in speech and writing, also in English
Meritorious
- Knowledge of Redhat Openshift and/or Unix
- Experience of Python scripting
Scope and commencement Full-time, permanent. Commencement during September 2018 or by agreement.
