Your tasks
You will help strengthen the technical foundations that allow Performativ to serve more customers, process more data, and support increasingly demanding enterprise use cases.
This is an all-round engineering role rather than a narrowly defined infrastructure position. You will work across services, data flows, APIs, background processing, databases, cloud infrastructure, and operational tooling wherever improvements are needed.
- You will identify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability limitations across the platform, using production evidence to focus effort where it has the greatest impact.
- You will improve observability through useful metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerts that help the team understand system behaviour and diagnose problems quickly.
- You will strengthen services, data processing, deployment workflows, and operational safeguards so failures are detected early, contained, and permanently resolved.
- You will contribute across our technology landscape, including Python, Golang, PHP, TypeScript, MySQL, Redis, AWS, containers, and CI/CD tooling, without being limited to one language or system.
- You will direct AI agents to produce much of the implementation, critically review their decisions and output, and establish the tests and operational evidence needed for safe deployment.
Requirements
You should bring broad software-engineering experience and a practical understanding of how production systems behave under real usage. Experience with distributed systems, performance analysis, database optimisation, cloud infrastructure, observability, or high-volume data processing would be valuable. Expertise in our exact technology stack is less important than your ability to understand systems, investigate evidence, and deliver sound solutions.
AI increases our delivery speed, but it does not reduce our engineering standard or our accountability for the result. You must be able to recognise weak designs, incorrect assumptions, missing failure modes, and unsafe production behaviour.
