Buyer - with experience

A. Ensure the correct supply of products and services requested by the different operational and technical areas, complying with local and international policies, procedures, quality requirements, delivery times, quantity, and price.

B. Management of the purchase of materials and services requested by the different operational and technical areas, and delivery of materials to the end user.

C. Management of the relationship with national and international suppliers (Purchase Orders, Service Orders, deliveries, price analysis and comparison, logistics, warranties, repairs, contracts, scheduled maintenance, etc.).

D. Supplier development (supplier catalog).

E. Handling of service requests and scheduled maintenance through the Maintenance and Engineering area.

F. Supervision of compliance with the best purchasing conditions, through the localization of the best supply sources, material transport, negotiation of credits, and warranty claims (savings).

Technical knowledge

National and international purchasing processes; negotiation with suppliers; foreign trade and imports; management of ERP systems (Odoo desirable); intermediate-advanced level Excel; intermediate-advanced English for negotiation with international suppliers.

Competencies and attitudes

Negotiation skills, results orientation, organization and attention to detail, effective communication, ability to work under pressure, proactivity, ethics, and handling of confidential information.

Education

Completed Bachelor's degree in Administration, International Trade, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing positions, preferably in the aviation, industrial, or logistics sectors.
