During this period, we are looking for a new member for the Accounting team at the Argyroupoli facilities.

Your daily routine

As an Assistant Accountant (Category C Books), you will support the daily operations of the Accounting department and contribute to the proper monitoring of the company's financial transactions. You will work closely with the Finance Department, external partners, and other departments of the company, ensuring the accuracy of accounting data and the timely processing of financial procedures.

Your contribution will be crucial for the effective operation of the finance department and the maintenance of the reliability of the company's financial information.

What you will do:

• You will check and record documents, invoices, receipts, payments, and accounting entries.
• You will manage and monitor data transmission and reconciliation processes through the myDATA platform.
• You will support the preparation of monthly and annual tax obligations and financial statements in collaboration with the external accountant.
• You will prepare and process payments to suppliers and other obligations in Greece and abroad.
• You will participate in the invoicing processes and the monitoring of financial transactions.
• You will coordinate accounting and administrative documents related to imports and exports.
• You will support the creation of financial reports and the auditing of accounting records.

Required Qualifications:

What will help you succeed:

• University or TEI degree in an Economics field.
• At least 5 years of experience in an organized accounting office with double-entry bookkeeping (Category C Books).
• Very good knowledge of accounting and tax procedures.
• Good knowledge of tax legislation, VAT, VIES, and INTRASTAT declarations.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, with emphasis on Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems. Experience with Megasoft Prisma will be considered an additional qualification.
• Very good knowledge of the English language.
• Organizational skills, responsibility, and attention to detail.
• Ability for effective communication and collaboration with different teams.

Final compensation is determined based on qualifications, professional experience, and the requirements of the role.
