About the company
Perfect Pet is a growing commercial company in the pet products industry, with a dual business model: the distribution of established brand names and the development of private label products, which are produced in collaboration with partner manufacturers (co-packers) abroad.
Your tasks
As part of our growth and the strengthening of the Procurement Department, we are looking for two (2) Procurement Officers. The positions report to the Procurement Manager. One focuses on the represented brands and the other on private label products.
Main Responsibilities Issuance, management, and monitoring of purchase orders until receipt.
Daily communication and coordination with suppliers and co-packers, in Greece and abroad.
Monitoring of imports, lead times, and logistics, in collaboration with the Sales and Warehouse departments.
Management and optimization of inventory, to ensure product availability.
Support in negotiations of prices and terms of cooperation, under the guidance of the Procurement Manager.
Maintenance and updating of price lists, contracts, and product specifications.
Checking of import and customs documents and ensuring compliance (quality, certifications).
Preparation of reports and analysis of procurement data to support departmental decisions.
Requirements
Candidate Profile University/Technical degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Economics, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in a similar procurement/purchasing position, preferably in a commercial/import company or in the FMCG industry.
Excellent knowledge of English — essential for cooperation with foreign suppliers.
Very good knowledge of MS Office, with emphasis on Excel; experience with an ERP system is considered a significant qualification.
Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple suppliers and deadlines.
