Foreign Trade Manager

Foreign Trade Management

A company in the hardware sector is looking for a Foreign Trade Manager with solid experience in imports, customs operations, and international logistics.

Main responsibilities:

• Coordinate import operations from origin to CEDIS.
• Supervise customs agents, forwarders, shipping lines, and carriers.
• Review pedimentos and foreign trade documentation.
• Validate tariff classification, NICO, and compliance with NOM and regulations.
• Control clearance times, demurrage, storage, and logistics costs.
• Follow up on operational and regulatory incidents.
• Coordinate the area's operational team.
• Prepare reports and indicators for Management.

Required profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Comercio Exterior, Comercio Internacional, Negocios Internacionales, Logística, Derecho, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Comercio Exterior.
• Desirable previous experience as a Manager, Senior Coordinator, or equivalent position.
• Knowledge of Ley Aduanera, LIGIE, NICO, RGCE, NOM, VUCEM, and Incoterms.
• Experience in maritime imports, preferably from Asia.
• Intermediate-advanced Excel.
• Leadership, analytical capacity, decision-making, and sense of urgency.
