Methods Manager M/F

Position: Our client is an industrial company based in Drulingen, recognized for its technical expertise in the fields of boilermaking and demanding industrial environments. As part of its development, the company wishes to strengthen its methods department to support its production and continuous improvement projects. Operating in a technical and collaborative environment, it places quality, industrial performance, and innovation at the heart of its priorities. We are looking for a Methods Manager M/F for our client on a CDI basis.

Profile:

Reporting to the industrial management, you will lead and manage a team of technicians in charge of methods activities, drafting, costing, machine/robot programming, as well as scheduling-launching.

• As a true technical referent, you define the manufacturing processes for various products and design the tooling necessary for production, with a constant objective of ergonomics, quality, and productivity.
• You determine the manufacturing phases, develop manufacturing sequences as well as operating modes and instruction sheets intended for the production teams.
• You also provide technical support to the workshops, notably through the programming of robotic equipment, and ensure the update of plans and technical documents according to client evolutions.
• You work in close collaboration with the production, quality, and projects teams to guarantee the proper execution of industrial activities.
• You perform and analyze the technical calculations necessary for the steering and optimization of processes.
• You actively participate in the implementation, deployment, and monitoring of the ERP.

Advantages:

Ideally coming from a Bac +5 technical background such as an engineering school, you have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial environment, ideally in the boilermaking and/or nuclear sectors. You master CAD software; knowledge of CAM would be appreciated. You possess strong skills in reading welding and machining plans as well as good knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes: welding, machining, painting, and non-destructive testing. Skills in robot programming and VBA would be a real asset. You also have a good level of English; proficiency in German is appreciated.
