PeopleX is recruiting a Finance Manager (Operational Finance) for a leading client in the energy and fuels industry. This role focuses strictly on managing high-volume operational finance functions (AP/AR), cash flow strategy, and working capital optimization across group companies. The position will lead financial controls and operational cash management to support business growth and mitigate risks from raw material price volatility (e.g., Coal, Biomass).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operational Finance Management: Oversee daily AP and AR operations for affiliate entities (managing ~20 sub-companies, with 7–8 active operating units), handling high monthly transaction volumes (~600–700 transactions/month with cash flow exceeding THB 100M+; average THB 500M–600M/month).
2. Cash Flow & Liquidity Planning: Prepare short- and long-term cash flow forecasts, perform Bank Reconciliations, analyze variances against actual results, and present actionable financial insights to top management.
3. Financial Strategy & Risk Mitigation: Formulate strategic financial plans to optimize working capital and minimize reliance on factoring services, effectively managing raw material cost fluctuations and trade credit terms.
4. Overseas Trade Finance: Manage international payment obligations, overseas trade transactions, and navigate foreign exchange/raw material risk factors.
5. Internal Controls & Compliance: Oversee cash receipts, disbursement processes, transaction approvals, and enforce strict financial internal controls across operational teams.
6. Team Leadership: Lead and coach the finance team of approximately 20 staff members, directly supervising 2 Finance Department Managers (AP/AR).
7. Executive Reporting: Prepare comprehensive operational finance reports and strategic recommendations for C-Level Executives and Company Owners.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CPA/CFA certification is NOT required). Industry Experience: Direct financial management experience in the Manufacturing, Production, or Energy/Fuels sectors is essential. (Pure construction experience is not preferred). Operational Expertise: Strong hands-on experience in high-volume AP/AR management, cash flow forecasting, working capital strategy, and international trade payments. Age & Mindset: Minimum age 40 years old and above. Mature leadership with the ability to present directly to Owners/C-Level executives and adapt well to a family business culture. Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Excel, financial software, or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Language Skills: Excellent English communication skills (able to coordinate with overseas vendors and partners effectively).
