BIM Manager (Leading M&E Contractor)

About the company

Our client is an established mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering company in Singapore with several decades of experience. It delivers electrical, air-conditioning and ventilation, and fire protection systems, and also provides project management for projects of varying size and complexity. The team is known for taking on technically demanding work, and is now investing in BIM and digital delivery to strengthen how it plans, coordinates and builds.

Your tasks

About the Role This is a key leadership role for a BIM professional with a strong M&E background. You will own the company’s BIM approach from strategy to execution, setting the standards, processes and tools that project teams follow, and making sure digital delivery meets both client expectations and business goals.

• Lead the BIM strategy, standards and governance across projects
• Prepare BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), protocols, workflows and information management procedures
• Lead M&E and multidisciplinary coordination, including clash resolution and constructability reviews
• Manage and guide project BIM teams of Coordinators and Modellers
• Review model quality, check compliance and oversee BIM deliverables
• Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and digital collaboration processes
• Implement BIM in line with ISO 19650 and client requirements
• Support 3D, 4D and 5D BIM workflows where needed
• Work with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders on BIM requirements
• Train and mentor project teams to build BIM capability
• Keep track of emerging technologies such as Digital Twin, Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and digital handover tools
• Contribute BIM and digital delivery input to tenders and business development

Requirements

• BIM background in M&E (electrical, ACMV and/or fire protection) is a must
• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, Construction Management or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of BIM experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Track record of managing BIM delivery across multiple projects
• Advanced skills in Revit, Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
• Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, BEPs, CDE and information management practices
• Familiarity with BCA BIM requirements, CORENET submissions and Singapore regulations
• Experience building BIM standards, templates, libraries and governance frameworks
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and project management skills
• Experience in complex, high-specification projects is preferred
• BIM or Autodesk certifications are an advantage
