Workshop Manager

BURY – £40,600 + UP TO £6,000 BONUS/ PERMANENT POSITION

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Workshop Manager to join our well-established automotive client based in Bury on a full-time permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional looking to take responsibility for the day-to-day performance of a busy workshop operation.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Workshop Supervisor, Garage Manager or Service Manager.

Rates of Pay:

• £40,600 per annum
• Up to £6,000 performance-related bonus
• Potential earnings of up to £46,600 per annum

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Permanent position

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Workshop Manager are:

• Managing the day-to-day running of a busy automotive workshop
• Supporting and managing workshop employees
• Coordinating workloads to ensure work is completed efficiently
• Monitoring productivity and workshop performance
• Ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service
• Supporting the team to achieve operational and business targets
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed throughout the workshop
• Identifying and resolving operational issues
• Maintaining an organised and efficient working environment

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a Workshop Manager , you will need:

• Previous experience within an automotive workshop environment
• Experience supervising or managing a workshop team
• Strong organisational and people-management skills
• Good understanding of workshop operations
• Ability to manage workloads and priorities effectively
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
• A hands-on and proactive approach to management
