People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Waste Operative to join our well-established client based in Worcester, working within a specialist clinical waste operation.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering a £28,000 annual salary, a 4-on-4-off rotating shift pattern, ongoing work, full training and the opportunity to secure permanent employment.

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as a Waste Operative, Clinical Waste Operative, Recycling Operative, General Operative, Industrial Cleaner, Warehouse Operative or Production Operative.
Important: This role involves the handling and processing of medical, clinical and pharmaceutical waste. Candidates must be comfortable working within this environment and following strict safety procedures.
Shifts
- 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern
- Day shift: 06:00 – 18:30
- Night shift: 18:00 – 06:30
Rates of Pay
- £28,000 per annum
- Weekly pay
- Overtime opportunities available

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Waste Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Sorting medical, clinical and pharmaceutical waste for processing
- Loading and moving recycling bins safely around the site
- Processing different waste types in line with company procedures
- Organising waste areas and ensuring bins are positioned correctly
- Manually sorting and handling waste materials
- Wearing and using the PPE provided on site correctly at all times
- Completing additional operational duties as required

- Full UK Driving Licence and own transport due to the site location
- Willingness to work with clinical waste and follow strict health and safety procedures
