About the company
People Solutions are currently recruiting for two experienced Press Brake Operators to join our client's manufacturing operation based in Warrington.
Your tasks
Day-to-Day Duties As a Press Brake Operator, your duties will include:
- Setting and operating AMADA press brake machinery
- Producing components accurately from engineering drawings
- Selecting and setting appropriate tooling for each job
- Programming and adjusting machinery between production runs
- Working with different materials and thicknesses
- Completing work accurately and efficiently to production schedules
- Inspecting components to ensure quality standards are met
- Recording completed work and reporting production issues
- Carrying out autonomous maintenance and reporting breakdowns
- Working with the Production Supervisor to prioritise workloads
- Supporting continuous improvement within the manufacturing operation
Requirements
This position is ideal for applicants with experience as a Press Brake Operator, Press Brake Setter, CNC Press Brake Operator or Sheet Metal Fabricator.
- Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or Press Brake Setter
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Sheet metal fabrication experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Understanding of tooling, materials and bending operations
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to work safely and effectively within a team
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience operating AMADA press brake machinery

Rates of Pay
- Early shift: £32,641 per annum
- Late shift: £39,975 per annum

- Thursday: 4:00pm–1:30am
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday off
