Security Manager

Industry: Logistics Conducive Working Environment Location: East Responsibilities: Support security governance, staff security awareness, training programmes, and AWS security project implementation across logistics operations. Ensure compliance with KCR, TAPA FSR "A", STP-Plus, and Trade First Premium requirements, including conducting gap assessments and driving corrective actions. Conduct TVRA and Intellectual Property Risk Management (IPRM) activities to identify supply chain vulnerabilities, investigate cargo losses and security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement loss prevention measures. Manage security incident investigations, maintain loss and incident registers, prepare investigation reports, and monitor corrective actions and security KPIs. Identify security-related supply chain risks, maintain business continuity and risk registers, conduct tabletop exercises, and support recovery planning for operational disruptions. Manage and evaluate CCTV, access control, perimeter protection systems, alarms, VMS/PSIM platforms, and other security technologies, including system upgrades, monitoring, and technology improvement roadmaps. Plan and conduct security audits and inspections across warehouses, freight, and transportation operations to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards. Manage outsourced security service providers, including performance reviews, contract compliance, SLA monitoring, and continuous service improvement. Conduct unannounced security spot checks and red-team exercises to validate security controls, officer performance, and operational readiness. Develop and maintain Excel dashboards and management reports covering security compliance, incidents, risks, training, technology implementation, and performance trends. Collaborate with Operations, IT, HR, Procurement, Fleet, vendors, and customer security teams to align security requirements and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Identify security gaps, develop mitigation plans, and lead initiatives to strengthen physical security, cargo protection, operational resilience, and overall supply chain security. Requirements:              Diploma and above in security or equivalent At least 5 - 8 years of working experience in a related field or Security Management. Preferably within a warehouse or logistics environment. Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations. Emergency & crisis management/ Loss Prevention skills. Experience in logistics industry or supply chain management advantageous  Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a team of security officers ( 2 – 4 people per team) In-depth knowledge of security procedures, CCTV systems, alarm systems, and access control.
