Order Processing Specialist (6mths to Perm, up to $4500)

·       Swiss MNC ·       6 months contract (possibility to convert) ·       Location: Kallang ·       Salary: up to $4,500 ·       Experience in SAP Summary The Order Processing Specialist is responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders for the Southeast Asia and Japan markets. This role ensures adherence to pricing guidelines, maintains meticulous order and invoicing accuracy, provides exceptional customer service, and collaborates effectively with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the order fulfillment process. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills, with proficiency in SAP and a commitment to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Order Processing & Fulfilment ·       Process customer purchase orders for Southeast Asia and Japan, ensuring adherence to approved pricing and discount structures. ·       Verify with Market Head of Sales (HOS) that selling prices and discounts are correctly reflected in quotations and purchase orders before SAP processing. ·       Ensure timely and accurate order processing and invoicing in compliance with SAP procedures and standards. Customer Service & Logistics Coordination ·       Provide advanced shipping notifications and ensure complete and accurate shipment documentation. ·       Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing updates and resolving issues effectively. ·       Maintain accurate order status in weekly Sales and Orderbook reports. ·       Prepare shipping and banking documentation for Letter of Credit (LC) negotiations. ·       Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Europe and China factories) and external customers. ·       Follow up with Southeast Asia customers on outstanding Accounts Receivable. Continuous Improvement & Compliance ·       Adhere to internal controls and best practices in line with group policies. ·       Review workflows and documentation with manager to identify process improvements. ·       Generate and analyze reports to track performance and highlight areas for improvement. Requirements: ·       Diploma or relevant certifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline. ·       Understanding of fundamental logistics processes, including shipping methods. ·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic data analysis and reporting); SAP proficiency preferred. ·       Strong aptitude for learning and adapting to new processes and systems. ·       Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. ·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and customer interaction.
