On behalf of our client, we are now seeking 4 experienced mechanics for an exciting subsea project on Stord.

This is a very good opportunity for you who have solid mechanical experience and want to work on a technically interesting project with very good salary conditions.

The project initially has a duration through 2026, with good opportunities for extension if the project continues.

About the position

You will become part of a professional team working with mechanical assembly, installation, testing, and preparation of equipment for the subsea industry.

The work is varied and suits you who are practical, precise, and comfortable working according to procedures and technical documentation.

The workplace is Stord, and the position is local. Candidates who do not live on Stord must arrange their own transport and any commuting to the workplace.

Tasks

  • Mechanical assembly and mounting of subsea equipment
  • Installation, disassembly, and preparation of mechanical equipment
  • Work with hydraulic systems and components
  • Testing, inspection, and functional verification
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Working according to drawings, procedures, and technical documentation
  • Contributing to safe and efficient project execution
  • Collaboration with other professional groups and project personnel

We are looking for you who

  • Have solid experience as a mechanic
  • Have experience from industry, offshore, subsea, maritime activities, or equivalent
  • Are practical, precise, and solution-oriented
  • Can work independently and at the same time function well in a team
  • Have good technical understanding
  • Are accustomed to working according to procedures and technical documentation
  • Have a focus on HSE and quality

A trade certificate (fagbrev) is an advantage, but not an absolute requirement. If you have long and relevant experience as a mechanic and can document that you master the trade, you are a candidate.

Experience with hydraulics is particularly interesting.

You must be able to communicate well in English. Norwegian is an advantage, but not a requirement.
