HR Officer
The HR Officer will support the full employee lifecycle to strengthen HR operational excellence and build a sustainable, future-ready workforce by improving HR service delivery, supporting effective talent acquisition and workforce planning, strengthening employee development and engagement, and continuously improving HR processes while ensuring corporate HR governance and compliance to support the Company’s business and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Handle day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records and HR documentation in the HR information system
- Maintain and keep personnel files accurate and up to date
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring the necessary documentation and HR procedures are completed accurately and on time.
- Respond to and resolve staff enquiries submitted via HR Helpdesk, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Draft and issue employment verification letters, HR letters and other employment-related documents upon request
Payroll Support
- Support monthly payroll administration including the preparation and verification of payroll-related information such as attendance, leave, claims, and new joiner and leaver information
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Support the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and coordination with hiring managers and candidates.
- Prepare offer documentation and coordinate onboarding requirements, ensuring a smooth first-day experience
Learning and Development Administration
- Support L&D administration, including training logistics, registrations, attendance tracking, and maintenance of training records
Others
- Assist with HR reports, data preparation and other HR-related projects and initiatives.
- Provide general HR support to employees and assist with other HR duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant HR experience in the construction industry. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Hands-on experience with Infotech system
- Professional HR certification (IHRP-CP/CA or equivalent) would be highly advantageous
- Working knowledge of Singapore employment practices, including the Employment Act and CPF, is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace applications
- Strong attention to detail, with a high standard of accuracy and confidentiality
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and is a good team-player
