At Penske, we are looking for a Materials Coordinator to join our logistics operations team at the corporate office located in Santa Fe.

We are looking for a person with experience in logistics, sourcing, and material tracking, capable of maintaining effective communication with suppliers and customers and ensuring the availability of components according to the requirements of the operation.

Position Objective

Ensure the timely supply of materials to the plant, following up on customer requirements and coordinating with suppliers and carriers to guarantee that materials arrive on time, in the right place, and in the right manner.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers the transport and transfer of materials.
• Ensure the supply of materials according to customer requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers and critical part numbers.
• Coordinate transports and shipments to ensure the timely arrival of material.
• Maintain constant communication with national and international customers and suppliers.
• Follow up on changes in material requirements.
• Maintain communication with production areas to ensure compliance with operational needs.
• Properly manage the resources allocated to the expedition of materials.

Requirements

Education: Completed Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, traffic, and/or importation of materials.
• Experience in customer and supplier service and follow-up.
• Desirable experience in the automotive industry.

Knowledge and Skills

• Advanced Excel.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
