At Penske, we are looking for talent to join our team as a Logistics Planning Coordinator, who will be responsible for transforming customer and operational requirements into plans and schedules that ensure the continuity and efficiency of operations.

Position Objective

Coordinate and develop operational planning according to customer requirements, ensuring the correct scheduling of activities, material flow, space utilization, and fulfillment of safety, quality, productivity, and service objectives.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare, update, and follow up on operational and dock programs (Dock Schedule).
• Develop and modify layouts according to operational needs.
• Analyze customer requirements and convert them into work plans for the Operations team.
• Timely communicate operational programs and plans to supervisors.
• Monitor information and indicators to support decision-making.
• Support capacity planning in response to changes in customer requirements.
• Verify the correct flow and location of materials and packaging within the cross-dock operation.
• Identify improvement opportunities in processes, space utilization, material flow, and information systems.
• Maintain constant communication and collaboration with the customer's Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics areas.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's degree or Engineering in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in planning, logistics, operations, or development of plans based on requirements.
• Experience or knowledge in layout design/modification.
• Intermediate-advanced Excel.
• Intermediate-advanced English.
• AutoCAD desirable.
• Experience or knowledge in project coordination.
• Previous experience in logistics operations is desirable.
