Procurement Specialist

Are you an experienced procurement professional who gets energy from negotiating, supplier management, and international collaboration? For a growing organization, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist who will take on a central role within the purchasing strategy and can make a direct impact on costs, quality, and continuity.

What will your package of tasks look like?

• You take on strategic purchasing responsibility and independently negotiate with suppliers regarding prices, volumes, terms, and deliveries.
• You analyze the market, monitor price evolutions, and determine the most suitable purchasing moments together with internal stakeholders.
• You develop new supplier relationships and assess existing partners in terms of quality, reliability, and certification.
• You plan and organize supplier visits both domestically and abroad and use these moments to both negotiate and build sustainable relationships.

What do we expect from you?

• You hold a master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a similar field. Candidates with a bachelor's degree and several years of relevant experience are also eligible.
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience within procurement, sourcing, or strategic purchasing.
• Experience with the procurement of raw materials or technical materials is a strong asset.
• You are commercially strong, analytical, and possess persuasive negotiation skills.
• You speak excellent English and are willing to travel internationally regularly. Knowledge of French and German is a plus.
• You work independently, but do not think in silos and actively seek collaboration with colleagues and other departments.
