*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing meals according to recipes and specifications, ensuring timely service, and supporting the overall kitchen operations.

*Duties*

  • Prepare and cook menu items with precision and consistency, following established recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper food handling and storage practices
  • Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, including proper sanitation and temperature controls
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during service hours
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
  • Support the plating and garnishing of dishes to meet quality standards
  • Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment and ensuring compliance with health codes

*Requirements*

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
  • Familiarity with food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards
  • Strong understanding of the food industry practices related to meal preparation and presentation
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction when interacting with front-of-house staff or guests
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if needed
  • A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
