Are you an experienced Senior Ecologist looking to join an independent environmental and planning consultancy working across renewable energy, infrastructure and nature-based projects?

The Senior Ecologist role will involve:

• Managing medium to large and complex ecological projects
• Leading surveys, site visits and ECoW work
• Producing high-quality ecological assessments, reports and management plans
• Providing specialist ecological advice to clients and stakeholders
• Managing subcontractors and quality-checking project deliverables
• Line managing and mentoring junior ecologists
• Supporting business development, tenders and client relationships

Requirements:

• Relevant degree and strong consultancy experience
• Associate/Full CIEEM membership or working towards
• Strong project management and report-writing skills
• Excellent knowledge of UK ecology legislation and guidance
• Experience mentoring or managing junior staff
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Living in or within a commutable distance of the Liverpool office
