An established sustainability and engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior BREEAM AP to join its London team, taking a leading role in supporting contractors through the construction and delivery of BREEAM-certified projects.

This role would suit an experienced BREEAM Consultant with strong contractor-facing experience who is confident managing BREEAM delivery across live construction projects.

The role As a Senior BREEAM Consultant , you will:

  • Lead BREEAM AP support for main contractors from pre-construction through to handover.
  • Translate BREEAM requirements into practical actions across procurement, construction programmes and site procedures.
  • Lead contractor workshops, progress meetings and regular construction site reviews.
  • Manage BREEAM trackers, evidence schedules, responsibility matrices and action logs.
  • Review contractor and subcontractor evidence and proactively identify compliance risks.
  • Advise on construction-stage credits including materials, waste, responsible sourcing and commissioning.
  • Coordinate with BREEAM Assessors, design teams, contractors and subcontractors to protect credits.
  • Lead evidence collation, Post Construction Review and certification activities.
  • Manage project programmes, budgets and client relationships where required.

About you

  • 4+ years' relevant sustainability/BREEAM experience.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting main contractors with construction-stage BREEAM delivery.
  • BREEAM AP qualification is desirable, alongside BREEAM Assessor experience.
  • Strong practical understanding of construction-stage BREEAM and certification.
  • Confident managing contractor relationships and leading site-based meetings.
  • Strong commercial, organisational and project management skills.
  • UK driving licence desirable due to regular site visits.
