Got a few years' hydraulic modelling experience behind you and ready to take more responsibility for your own projects?

This Dublin role gives you the opportunity to build on your technical modelling experience while becoming more involved in project delivery. You'll work on flood risk and hydraulic modelling projects across renewables, infrastructure, power, industrial and built environment sectors.

The Role

You'll be involved in:

• Delivering hydraulic modelling and flood risk studies
• Working with TUFLOW, including ESTRY, and Flood Modeller
• Supporting projects from planning through to detailed design
• Interpreting modelling outputs and preparing technical reports
• Working with GIS packages including QGIS
• Managing elements of project delivery and stakeholder liaison
• Supporting more senior colleagues on complex modelling studies
• Occasional site visits across Ireland and the UK

You'll also gain exposure to water quality, sediment transport and major green energy infrastructure projects, alongside colleagues across environmental, planning and engineering disciplines.

About You

You'll ideally have 3+ years' experience delivering hydraulic modelling projects within Ireland and/or the UK, backed by a degree in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience with TUFLOW, including ESTRY, and Flood Modeller is particularly relevant, alongside GIS capability and an understanding of flood risk and hydraulic modelling.

You'll also need good technical reporting, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ambition to take increasing responsibility for projects and clients.

A full driving licence valid in Ireland is required. Chartered status, or progress towards Chartership, would be beneficial.
