Your tasks

As a Project Geologist, you'll join a collaborative geotechnical and geo-environmental team, contributing to exciting projects that shape the built environment.

As Project Geologist, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and supporting ground investigations and site assessments.
• Logging boreholes and trial pits, supervising fieldwork and environmental monitoring.
• Coordinating soil and groundwater testing and contamination assessments.
• Undertaking geotechnical analysis and supporting foundation and earthworks design.
• Preparing technical reports and liaising with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

To be considered for this Project Geologist opportunity, you will need:

• A degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Relevant consultancy experience in geotechnical and geo-environmental projects.
• Experience in site investigations, fieldwork supervision and technical reporting.
• Knowledge of geotechnical software such as HoleBASE or GEO5.
• A full UK driving licence and full right to work in the UK.
• To live in or near the Cambridge office, with the ability to attend sites as required.
