Team Lead (Import)

Work closely with our Import Manager, overseas partners and internal teams while taking ownership of shipment coordination, customs clearance and process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Support the Import Manager in overseeing daily import operations and ensuring smooth shipment execution. Coordinate import arrangements and provide operational support to the Sales team. Liaise with overseas branches and appointed agents on shipment-related matters. Act as a key point of contact for customs-related matters, including Inter-Gateway permits. Ensure import procedures comply with company policies and ISO 9001 standards. Work closely with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements for greater operational efficiency. Prepare operational and performance reports for management review. Perform other import-related duties and assignments as required.

Requirements: 3–6 years of experience in import operations or freight forwarding, with relevant team lead experience preferred. Strong knowledge of import documentation and customs procedures. Strong coordination, organisational and problem-solving skills. Good communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Meticulous, detail-oriented and committed to operational accuracy. Able to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proactive, responsible and able to work independently. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Minimum Diploma/Degree in any discipline.
