Tax & Customs Manager (M/F)
Do you wish to take responsibility for the tax strategy and management of an international industrial group, a recognized player in its market?
Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, you are the guarantor of the Group's tax and customs compliance. You define and manage all French and international tax obligations in compliance with French legislation and applicable international regulations.
As the key interface between operational departments, the Finance Department, the Supply Chain, and external advisors (law firms, statutory auditors, tax administrations), you advise and assist Group companies in France and abroad on their routine and exceptional operations. You manage tax integration perimeters and ensure compliance with various tax obligations. Furthermore, you conduct training sessions to raise awareness among operational and support teams regarding tax issues. You also collaborate with IT teams to secure and optimize tax processes within the framework of implementing various regulations (electronic invoicing, FEC...). Regarding customs, you play a role in supervision, technical support, and coordination at the Group level, ensuring that strategic matters are managed centrally.
You define and drive the Group's tax strategy in connection with the Group CFO, actively contribute to internal and external growth projects by proposing suitable structuring solutions, and participate in defending the Group's interests during tax audits, claims, and tax rulings.
Operationally, you produce summary reports for the Finance Department and the Executive Committee, ensure the tax compliance monitoring of foreign subsidiaries, and coordinate multi-jurisdictional reporting obligations (CbCR, DAC6, Pillar 2), as well as transfer pricing management.
Finally, you manage, lead, and develop the Tax team, composed of one employee, by setting objectives and organizing the workload.
Holding a Master's degree (Bac+5) in tax law, accounting-taxation, finance, or equivalent (DJCE, Master 2 Fiscalité, or business school with a tax specialization), you have at least 10 years of experience in corporate taxation acquired in a law firm, an audit firm (Big Four), or the tax department of an international group, including at least 5 years in a managerial position.
You have mastered French corporate taxation (IS, TVA, tax integration, CIR) as well as international taxation (transfer pricing, tax treaties, BEPS/Pillar 2), and possess a solid foundation in structuring M&A operations. Your ability to simplify complex subjects, your business orientation, your leadership, and your team management skills will make the difference. Analytical rigor, organizational skills, and respect for regulatory deadlines in a multi-entity context will be essential to succeed in your duties.
Professional English is indispensable for this position (negotiation, international documentation, exchanges with foreign subsidiaries and advisors).
The proposed remuneration includes a fixed component and a variable component, to be defined according to the profile and experience.
You will benefit from a pleasant and dynamic working environment, within a Tax Department directly involved in the Group's strategic challenges.
