About Peddler

Peddler started in 2019 as a local marketplace. Founder James Klymowsky built an algorithm that matched consumer demand with inventory in nearby stores and delivered it by electric cargo bike. The concept took off, then the pandemic and the rise of instant delivery reshuffled the market. Peddler kept its footing by growing in a controlled manner, pivoting where needed and keeping a tight grip on cost.

Today Peddler is a technology-driven urban logistics company. Major international retailers, marketplaces, and e-commerce businesses use its network to deliver parcels in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht, and Almere. The model rests on urban hubs close to the final delivery address, where parcels are consolidated and sent out by electric cargo bike and other efficient delivery methods. As cities restrict conventional vehicles and retailers demand faster, cleaner, and cheaper delivery, that model gains ground every year.

The next step is national. Together with strategic partners, Peddler has drawn up a roadmap for a nationwide network of some 30 new locations, designed so that each new city builds on shared infrastructure rather than starting as a standalone project. A recently closed strategic financing round funds that expansion. The Netherlands comes first. European expansion, together with clients and partners, is on the horizon.
