Third Engineer officer

The Third Engineer is responsible to the Second Engineer. The Third Engineer duties and responsibilities include; (a). In charge of engine room watch. (b). The maintenance of all plant with attention to the main propulsion engines mountings, auxiliary engines, boilers, water and lube oil testing. (c). The adoption of safe working practices. (d). The other duties assigned to him by the Chief Engineer and Second Engineer as appropriate. Requirements:

• COC Class III or II
• Minimum 2 years of experience on board as Third Engineer on Oil

/Chemical vessel.

• Good leadership, teamwork, management and communication skills
• Must be willing to follow Company planned working schedule on board
