Financial Accountant (m/f/d) - HGB (Bilanzbuchhalter/in/Bachelor Professional in Bilanzbuchhaltung)

Your Tasks

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB as well as support with consolidation work at the company level
• Management of two to three companies including the execution of Intercompany bookings
• Preparation and analysis of financial data as well as creation of meaningful reports and evaluations - especially with Excel (Pivot tables, structured data analysis)
• Invoice creation for domestic and foreign markets, checking of conditions, and processing of payment transactions
• Support of the Commercial Manager in controlling tasks as well as in financial and liquidity planning
• Communication with external partners such as auditors and tax advisors
• Preparation of VAT advance notifications as well as statistical reports
• Independent processing of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting as well as booking of all ongoing business transactions

Your Profile

• Completed commercial training, ideally with further training in the field of finance or Bilanzbuchhaltung
• Sound knowledge of accounting according to HGB as well as experience in the independent preparation of financial statements; IFRS knowledge is an advantage and relevant for the future
• Confident handling of Excel; knowledge of DATEV is desirable, but not an exclusion criterion
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• Experience in dealing with multiple booking circles or company structures as well as with Intercompany processes is an advantage
