physiotherapy assistant

Peace River Physical Therapy is an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Peace River, AB.

We are looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant to work full time.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Assist patients with *soft tissue release*, exercises and therapeutic treatments (e.g., heat, cold, TENS).
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment.
• Guide patients through prescribed home exercise programs.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
• Support administrative tasks, including scheduling, billing, and insurance coordination.
• Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for patients.

*Requirements*

• Diploma in Physiotherapy Assistant or Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant. or experience working as physiotherapy assistant or physiotherapist.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience with clinic software (e.g., Practice Perfect) is an asset.
• Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a busy clinic environment.
