Ever wonderedwhat a traded-in laptop goes through before it's ready to sell again? You'reabout to be the one who makes that happen. As our Inventory Preparation &Technical Operations Assistant, you'll be the hands-on engine behind myhalo'szero e-waste mission — checking devices in, running the first tests, sortingthem for their next life, and keeping the whole pipeline moving. You'll workclosely with the Warehouse Executive and pick up real technical skills alongthe way — no repair background needed to start, just curiosity and awillingness to learn.
You'll also be afamiliar face to our Technical Specialist and Warehouse Operations interns —showing them the ropes as they learn alongside you.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Operations Support
- Get hands-on — run simple visual and functionaltests (battery check, boot-up, display check) on incoming devices
- Grade devices against our internal cosmetic andfunctional standards
- Check in, tag, and log devices accurately intoour inventory system
RMA & Returns Support
- Support RMA workflows — documentation, recordupdates, and preparing items for return
- Pack and schedule RMA shipments
- Track RMA status and keep the WarehouseExecutive in the loop
Buyback & Stock Processing
- Receive and process traded-in/buybackelectronics with accurate labelling and SKU management
- Create and maintain SKUs, making sure devicedata is complete and ready for the next step
- Move devices through the pipeline — testing →repair → resale → eCommerce listing
- Support cycle counts, stock audits, anddiscrepancy investigations
- Partner with the technical team on devicetesting, refurbishment, and quality control
- Keep accurate buyback records, following ourquality and data-security standards (ISO 9001 / ISO 27001)
Sustainability in Sorting
- Sort and label devices for their best next life— reuse, upcycle, donation, or recycle — following myhalo's sustainabilityworkflow
- Manage device movement and keep the warehouseorganised, safe, and easy to navigate
- Track and report the volume and weight ofdevices processed for our sustainability reporting
- Spot ways to make our processing workflowsleaner and greener
Guiding Our Interns
- Be a go-to face for our Technical Specialist andWarehouse Operations interns — show them how things work and help them buildreal skills
- Walk interns through daily tasks and check in ontheir progress alongside your own work

- Logistics: order fulfilment accuracy andturnaround time
- Sustainability: volume of devices successfullyreused/upcycled, % reduction in waste
