Industrialization Methods Technician (M/F)

PB Solutions is looking for its client, a Defense Industrialist located in Salbris in Loir-et-Cher (41), for an Electrotechnical Methods Technician M/F/X as part of a permanent contract (CDI).

In a context of growth and winning new projects in medium and large series, the company wishes to evolve its design and industrialization methods in order to gain standardization, efficiency, and industrial robustness.

Reporting to the Methods / Industrialization Manager, you will act at the interface between electrical design, methods, and production, on equipment integrating notably electrical bays, cabinets, wiring, and harnesses.

• You analyze technical files, specifications, and applicable standards in order to define electrical solutions adapted to the product constraints.
• You create or evolve the electrical diagrams for bays, cabinets, and harnesses and participate in the choice of components, connectors, and cable sections.
• You compile and update manufacturing files, nomenclatures, process sheets, and technical data necessary for production.
• You participate in the evolution of design and industrialization methods, notably through standardization and the reuse of existing files, in order to facilitate the transition toward medium and large series production.
• You define the needs for tooling, production means, and test benches and participate in their design or implementation.
• You support production teams during industrialization and provide technical support in case of problems encountered in manufacturing.
• You contribute to continuous improvement processes and the optimization of working methods: 5S, Kaizen, standardization of practices, and process improvement.
• You enter articles and nomenclatures into the ERP and ensure the update of the industrial file throughout the product life cycle.
• Depending on the projects, you may also intervene in the selection and monitoring of suppliers or subcontractors.

Coming from a Technical Training in Electrotechnics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Methods, or Industrialization, you ideally have a first significant experience in an industrial environment.

We are open to two types of backgrounds:

• Methods / Industrialization Profile: you have worked on the industrialization of electrical/electronic products or equipment, the creation of manufacturing files, nomenclatures, process sheets, tooling, or the improvement of production processes.
• Electrical Design Profile: you have experience in electrical design or definition in sectors such as automotive, electronics, aeronautics, defense, or consumer electronics. You are notably capable of analyzing specifications and technical standards in order to dimension wiring, choose cable sections, and select suitable components.

Knowledge of AutoCAD is appreciated but not imperative. Knowledge of an ERP as well as 5S, Kaizen, or Lean Manufacturing approaches will also be appreciated.

An English level allowing the use of technical documentation and communication in a professional context is expected.
