Electrical Design Manager (M/F)

PB Solutions is looking for its client, a Defense industrialist located in St Cloud (92), an Electrical Design Manager (M/F) for a permanent contract (CDI).

Within the Matériels Simulation department, part of the Direction des Métiers de la Simulation, you will ensure the interface between design and production, and in this capacity, you will be responsible for a Department of about fifteen people bringing together the skills necessary for the following work:

• Design, conception, and development of equipment respecting requirements for reliability, maintainability, regulations, standards, and occupational risk prevention

o This specifically includes computer systems, audio and video signal processing equipment, interconnection equipment, utilities, metallic structures, cabins and their equipment, and image presentation systems

• Design of software closely linked to the hardware (firmwares, automatisms.)
• Description, for all equipment, of installation constraints and building interfaces
• Definition and execution of tests for hardware prototypes
• Analysis of project needs and identification of solutions to meet schedules, e.g., outsourcing of activities

Your main missions are:

• Team Management:

o Participate in the recruitment of new employees o Hierarchically manage the people assigned to the Department o Maintain, steer, and develop skills

• Supervision of the operational execution of technical activities:

o Ensure compliance with the cost/performance/deadline triad in connection with project managers o Business interlocutor for the "make or buy" strategy o Quality management: compliance with business rules, proactive in proposing evolutions of practices

• Provision of technical expertise:

o Provide technical expertise to the members of the Department o Lead technical monitoring, obsolescence management, and the permanent search for innovation o Participate in the drafting of technical proposals and the preparation of quotes o Participate in design reviews of systems and products

Profile Description: With a higher engineering degree in a generalist field or equivalent, you have knowledge in electricity/electronics.

You are capable of investing yourself in understanding technical or functional problems, and sharing your solid problem-solving skills; You are dynamic, autonomous, composed, rigorous, versatile, and possess excellent interpersonal skills; You have excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to manage priorities effectively;

You have a good level of English, both spoken and written.

Recruitment Process:

• After a pre-selection of your application, an initial telephone exchange of approximately 15 minutes will take place with Estelle.
• You will then be invited to a videoconference interview with our client's technical teams.
• Finally, an on-site meeting will finalize the process and allow you to concretely project yourself into the position.
