Aeronautics MRO Workshop Manager (M/F)

PB Solutions is looking for its Defense Industry client located in Bourges in Cher (18), an After-Sales Service / Repair Workshop Manager (M/F) for a permanent contract (CDI).

Reporting to the VP Operations, you will take global responsibility for the After-Sales Service / Repair workshop, regarding technical and operational dimensions as well as managerial and regulatory ones. You are notably responsible for maintaining PART-145, EN 9100, and ISO 9001 approvals and certifications and hold the responsibility of the EASA Form 4.

• Drive all activities of the repair station and guarantee its performance in terms of quality, costs, and deadlines.
• Manage the workshop team: definition of objectives, monitoring of results, skills development, and daily leadership.
• Supervise technical activities of diagnosis, testing, repair, and equipment exchange.
• Provide your expertise on technical investigations, reliability analyses, and corrective actions.
• Guarantee compliance with PART-145 regulatory requirements and ensure the maintenance of necessary resources and procedures.
• Maintain and improve industrial means and tooling in order to increase the capacity, productivity, and quality of the workshop.
• Drive productivity improvement projects.
• Analyze the workload and capacity of the workshop to anticipate needs.
• Define and monitor activity performance indicators.
• Participate in the SIOP process to ensure the adequacy between workload, capacity, and customer needs.
• Respond to customer issues and requests.
• Collaborate with other repair stations within the Business Unit and share best practices.

Profile description:

With an Engineering or Master's degree, you have significant experience in an aeronautical industrial environment, ideally within an MRO, After-Sales, or PART-145 approved repair station activity.

Fluent English is indispensable given the interactions related to the position.

You have solid knowledge of repair activities: diagnosis of malfunctions, tests and measurements, application of CMM approved repair procedures, assembly/disassembly, adjustment, wiring, or even monitoring and traceability of interventions.

Your knowledge of PART-145 regulations and your ability to respond to audits constitute central skills for this position.
