Technical Writer in Industry (M/F)

PB Solutions is looking for a Technical Writer for its client specializing in the development and manufacture of special-purpose machines, located in Beaune-la-Rolande (45), for a 6-month mission with potential for evolution.

Missions: Within the R&D Department, New Product Introduction & Sustaining service, (Standard catalog products or special-purpose machines), you will be responsible for:

• Creating user manuals and maintenance procedures (technical analysis followed by formatting)
• Ensuring the monitoring and maintenance of existing documentation in printable, digital (PDF), and online (HTML) formats
• Products: precision positioning mechanisms, their drive systems (electric, piezoelectric motors), their control and power electronics across various ranges up to real-time closed-loop multi-axis controllers

Skills:

• Use of writing and formatting tools: Word, FrameMaker, Adobe illustrator, Photoshop, Solidworks composer)
• Pre-existing or to-be-acquired notions in HTML/CSS, javascript
• Knowledge in electrotechnics and automation, mechatronics, micromechanics, human-machine interface
• Autonomy and versatility.
• Good analytical and synthesis skills
• Communication skills adapted to the interlocutor (ability to transcribe designers' explanations into terms understandable for users)

Profile Description:

With at least a BAC +2 technical / electrotechnical training. You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical writing position. A good level of English is necessary.

Office tools: Office Pack indispensable, ideally Adobe Creative Suite and Technical Communication Suite, notions of HTML and CSS.
