MEMS Cleanroom Process Engineer (M/F)
PB Solutions is looking for its Defense Industry client located in Bourges in Cher (18), a MEMS / Cleanroom Process Engineer (M/F) as part of a permanent hire following a 4-month mission.
You will work on electromechanical microsystems (MEMS) intended notably for aeronautical applications. Your role will cover the monitoring, optimization, and industrialization of cleanroom processes, from performance analysis to the qualification of production means. Reporting to the Industrial Methods Manager, you will be the technical referent for the processes and equipment within your scope.
Your main missions:
- Guarantee the performance, stability, and availability of cleanroom production processes and equipment;
- Analyze manufacturing drifts, identify failure modes, and implement the necessary corrective actions;
- Resolve technical issues by adopting a true problem solving approach: formulating hypotheses, experimentation, verifying results, and formalizing operating rules;
- Implement and utilize control charts and SPC monitoring necessary for process control;
- Ensure particle control and contribute to defining cleaning and equipment calibration frequencies;
- Participate in the qualification of new equipment and write the associated technical documentation;
- Manage technical exchanges with suppliers and subcontractors;
- Implement experimental setups as part of the development of new products;
- Train and provide technical support to production operators and technicians;
- Be proactive in the evolution of processes, particularly with a focus on reliability and productivity gains.
Profile description: You are a graduate of an Engineering school or a Master's degree (Bac+5), ideally with a specialization in MEMS, microelectronics, microsystems, manufacturing processes, or an equivalent field.
You have initial experience in MEMS technologies and/or cleanroom processes.
Fluent English is expected to operate within the position's environment.
Beyond your training, we are primarily looking for a rigorous, analytical, and methodical person. You like to understand the origin of a problem rather than simply treating its consequences: you know how to formulate hypotheses, build a verification process, analyze results, and then formalize a rule or a robust solution. Your ability to analyze, synthesize, prioritize, and structure your investigations will be decisive for success in this position.
