Firmware Engineer (M/F)

PB Solutions is looking for an Electronics Firmware Engineer (M/F) for its Industrial client located in Montargis (45), as part of a 6-month contract.

Within the embedded electronics and software development team, you will participate in the design and evolution of the company's high-precision products.

Your main missions will be to:

• Design and develop embedded software (firmware) integrated into the equipment.
• Participate in the architecture of electronic and firmware systems.
• Develop functionalities allowing the control of electronic boards, sensors, actuators, and motors.
• Perform unit, integration, and validation tests.
• Diagnose and correct anomalies detected during the development or qualification phases.
• Participate in the fine-tuning of prototypes and laboratory testing.
• Collaborate with the electronics, mechanics, systems, and industrialization teams.
• Write the technical documentation associated with developments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development and validation methods.

Profile description:

Engineering degree or Master's degree (Bac+5) in electronics, embedded computing, mechatronics, or equivalent. Experience in embedded software (firmware) development. Good mastery of C/C++. Knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded processors, and real-time architectures. Understanding of industrial communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, Ethernet, USB...). Experience in debugging on electronic boards. Knowledge of motor control, sensors, or instrumentation is appreciated.
