This is the organization responsible for planning and executing new financial businesses to evolve PayPay from a payment app into a "Financial Super App." With "Web3," "Global (International Alliance)," and "AI/Data Utilization" as its three core pillars, we are strongly driving product development using cutting-edge technology and partnerships with top players both domestically and internationally. Backed by a user base of over 70 million, we aim to create advanced financial experiences that are smartphone-centric on a global scale.

▼ Background of Recruitment We believe that "creating a financial super app" is not simply about improving an app's UI/UX, but about creating "new financial services" that thoroughly pursue user-first principles. To achieve this, we are recruiting additional members to further strengthen the team due to organizational expansion.

In our company, which aims for further business expansion toward evolving into a "Financial Super App," "Global Expansion" is one of the most important areas.

Currently, the International Department is strongly promoting the proliferation of cross-border payments through strategic alliances with global companies leading various industries. Specifically, we handle two axes: the usage growth and expansion into new countries (outbound) for Japanese PayPay users to make seamless payments overseas in places like Taiwan and South Korea, and the expansion and promotion of infrastructure (inbound) that allows inbound foreign visitors to pay at Japanese PayPay merchants through their own overseas Wallets. While we have already built a payment network covering approximately 80% of inbound tourists, it is urgent to add new Wallet integrations and execute global strategies to further expand usage.

We are looking for someone who can challenge themselves to create new partnerships from a global perspective and work as a core member of our international strategy to pave the way for "future financial services" together.

【Specific Job Duties】 In both the inbound and outbound domains, you will lead everything from the planning to the execution of alliance strategies with overseas payment platformers and global companies.

・ Planning and execution of global strategic alliances ・ Researching, discovering, and approaching target companies for PayPay expansion into new countries/regions (outbound) and additional integration of new overseas Wallets (inbound) ・ Negotiation and contract conclusion with potential global partner companies ・ Planning and execution of usage growth and promotion measures in already supported countries (South Korea, Taiwan, etc.) and integrated Wallets ・ Promotion and management of entire alliance projects ・ Collaboration, coordination, and project management with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally (product development, marketing, sales, overseas partners, etc.)

Required Experience/Skills

・ Experience in business promotion and project management ・ Communication skills with internal and external stakeholders ・ Business English proficiency (TOEIC 800 or higher) (experience conducting negotiations and discussions with global companies in English)

・ Experience in alliance negotiations with overseas companies ・ Experience in planning and promoting alliance strategies with global companies ・ Experience in launching new businesses ・ General knowledge of payment-related fields ・ Business-level Korean or Chinese

Working Hours

Super Flex system (no core time)

In principle: 9:00 AM – 5:45 PM (7 hours 45 minutes actual work + 1 hour break)

Holidays

Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end/New Year holidays, and company-designated days

Leave (Statutory Leave and Company Benefits)

Annual paid leave (14 days in the first year, granted proportionally depending on the month of joining. Available from the date of joining)

Personal Leave (5 days granted every fiscal year / 3 or 5 days granted in the first year depending on the month of joining) *This is PayPay's unique special paid leave system, which can be used for yourself, family, or pets in cases of illness, injury, or accompanying them to medical appointments.

Salary

Annual salary system (includes part of fixed overtime pay)

Determined by company regulations based on experience, skills, performance, and contribution

Reviewed once a year

Special bonuses (incentives) are paid once a year based on company performance and individual contribution

Overtime allowance and late-night work allowance provided

*Regarding salary payment, it is possible to receive a portion via PayPay account (supports digital salary payment)
