◆Mission of the Corporate Strategy Department

• Driving the growth and profitability improvement of the entire PayPay Group
• Collection and analysis of management control data, hypothesis construction and strategy formulation, execution of strategies and measures, and progress management
• Achieving non-linear growth and becoming an enabler for business strategy execution
• Development of the management control infrastructure necessary for the above

Within the PayPay Group, this team plays the role of organizing and leading various projects, studies, and recommendations related to important agendas across the entire company and each business unit, handling them in parallel one after another.

【Specific Job Description】

In the PayPay Corporate Strategy Department, you will be responsible for duties centered on cross-organizational proposals and recommendations to the management executives and business divisions of the PayPay Group, consideration of strategic options, and the promotion of various projects.

Based on abstract themes and agendas brought forth from the management layer, you will autonomously and independently compile proposals and response plans. Furthermore, we expect you to always maintain an awareness of environmental changes surrounding the PayPay Group, summarize them into proposals, and proactively present them to management.

*Depending on the nature of the duties, concurrent secondment to each company within the PayPay Group may occur.

You will be assigned to and promote the following areas depending on your experience and skills:

• Promotion of various projects and special assignments
• Formulation and promotion support of business planning on the business division side (research, analysis, etc.)
• Operation of meeting bodies such as company-wide cross-functional strategic discussions
• Other duties related to the consideration and promotion of important agendas regarding overall company and business strategy

▼Major Past Projects

• Business plans related to new businesses and various responses in collaboration with business stakeholders
• Formulation and promotion of strategic options
• Analysis of issues in existing businesses, improvement, and formulation of recommendations and plans for achieving growth
• New business domain studies (mainly domestic and international fintech businesses) and formulation of commercialization plans
• Support for consideration in multiple working groups toward achieving key KPIs for PayPay Card, and operation of the overall management secretariat

Required Experience/Skills

Those who have a total of 6 or more years of experience in any of the following business areas:

• Strategy Consulting (Manager to Principal or higher)

* If Top Tier strategy consulting, Manager or higher

• Corporate Planning / Business Head at a business company
• Strategy experience in Fintech / Finance / IT domains

【Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience】

• Business-level English proficiency (Guideline: Business level or higher, TOEIC 850 or higher. English may be required for analyzing foreign companies, communicating with overseas bases, etc.)
• Passion and strong commitment toward our business growth
• Knowledge or experience regarding finance (payments, banking, securities/insurance industries)
• Management thinking skills and organizational skills

Compensation and Conditions

Employment Status

Full-time employee

Work Location

Hybrid Workstyle *You will be required to work from the office in accordance with the rules of your assigned organization and work instructions.

Working Hours

Super Flex system (no core time) Principle: 9:00 AM – 5:45 PM (7 hours 45 minutes of actual work + 1 hour break)

Holidays

Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and company-designated days

Leave (Statutory Leave and Company Benefits)

• Annual paid leave (14 days in the first year, granted proportionally depending on the month of joining. Available from the date of joining)
• Personal Leave (5 days granted every year / 3 or 5 days granted in the first year depending on the month of joining)

Salary

Annual salary system (includes part of fixed overtime pay)

• Determined by company regulations based on experience, skills, performance, and contribution
• Reviewed once a year
• Overtime allowance and late-night work allowance available
• Regarding salary payment, it is possible to receive a portion via PayPay account (supports digital salary payment)
