About the Role

▼ Introduction to the IR Team With the opportunity of listing on the US NASDAQ market, we are promoting IR activities, including quarterly financial results disclosure for investors and analysts, and communication with domestic and international investors. As a US-listed company, which is rare for a Japanese company, the scope of IR and capital market response—such as domestic and overseas bond issuance, credit rating acquisition, and M&A—will continue to expand in the future. The team consists of members with diverse backgrounds, and we promote our operations through active discussion while leveraging each person's expertise. It is a small, elite organization where each individual has high discretion and responsibility, providing an environment where they can proactively engage in their work.

▼ Background of Recruitment

Communicating PayPay's business growth and management strategy to the capital markets in an appropriate and timely manner, and building relationships of trust with domestic and international investors, plays a crucial role in increasing corporate value. In this position, you will be expected to drive operations with ownership in project management, including financial results preparation, as well as a wide range of tasks such as creating IR materials, market/competitor analysis, and planning IR strategies. Additionally, there are many opportunities to communicate directly with investors in English, such as accompanying overseas IR and conducting meetings with overseas institutional investors, so we are looking for individuals with a global perspective and communication skills.

【Specific Job Responsibilities】

Creation of IR-related materials such as financial results presentation materials

Planning and operation of IR activities for domestic and international investors/analysts (accompanying overseas IR, handling meetings with overseas institutional investors)

Market, competitor, and performance analysis, and planning of IR strategies

Coordination and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders

You can be involved in IR work that directly contributes to increasing corporate value from a position close to management.

As a US NASDAQ-listed company, you can lead global IR practices, such as accompanying overseas IR and direct communication with domestic and international investors.

In a small, elite team with high discretion, you can proactively be involved in everything from the financial results process to the planning and execution of IR strategies.

Required Experience/Skills

Experience in autonomously driving projects or operations while involving multiple stakeholders

English proficiency at a business level or higher (a level that allows for smooth accompanying of overseas IR and handling meetings with overseas institutional investors)

Basic PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) *Practical experience in IR work is not required.

Desired Experience/Skills

Experience in IR work at a listed company

Project management experience in financial institutions, audit firms, accounting, finance, etc.

Experience in work related to stock markets or capital markets

Experience in communication and handling overseas institutional investors

Working Hours

Super Flex system (no core time)

In principle: 9:00 AM – 5:45 PM (7 hours 45 minutes of actual work + 1 hour break)

Holidays

Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays, and company-designated days

Annual paid leave (14 days in the first year, granted proportionally depending on the month of joining. Available from the date of joining)

Annual salary system (includes a portion of fixed overtime pay)
