Specific Job Description

You will be responsible for designing and driving strategies from various perspectives to strategically improve the technical and organizational capabilities of the engineering organization, which mainly consists of the backend.

Starting from various strategy designs for organizational growth, you will contribute to solving organizational issues and driving growth through hands-on involvement.

Main implementations are done using a combination of Java 11/Spring Boot 2 or Java 17/Spring Boot 3.

Some legacy implementations remain with Java 8 and Java EE frameworks.

For databases, we use RDS (Oracle, MySQL) and DynamoDB.

For unit testing, we use JUnit/Mockito, and for integration testing, we use JMeter.

Experience and skills in negotiation and coordination with diverse stakeholders

English skills at business level or higher

Full-time employee

Work Location

Hybrid Workstyle (Office <either Tokyo or Fukuoka>, remote work from home) *Attendance at the office/remote work will be based on the rules of the assigned organization and business instructions.

Working Hours

Full Flex system (no core time)

Principle: 9:00 AM – 5:45 PM (7 hours 45 minutes actual work + 1 hour break)

Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end/New Year holidays, and company-designated days
