About the role
The Retail Development Kiosk exists to ensure operational and commercial excellence across the PayJoy Mexico store network. This role is critical to protecting business profitability through rigorous control of inventories, pricing, promotional materials, and credit risk metrics (FPD) at each point of sale. By ensuring consistency in the execution of key KPIs, this position reduces variability between stores, prevents losses due to inventory imbalances or incorrect pricing, and provides timely visibility to detect and correct deviations before they impact the business. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with the ability to work in the field and communicate effectively with store teams. They are a detail-oriented person, with experience in retail or telecommunications, capable of interpreting inventory and risk data, translating them into concrete actions, and following up until resolution. They possess self-initiative, high tolerance for changing environments, and the ability to positively influence the behavior of point-of-sale teams.
Key Responsibilities: Store inventory control: Regularly monitor and audit mobile device inventory levels at each point of sale, identifying overstock or shortage situations, and coordinating corrective actions with supply chain and operations teams to maintain optimal levels that support sales goals without generating tied-up capital.
Equipment pricing supervision: Verify that mobile device prices in-store are consistent with current commercial policy, detecting and escalating discrepancies that could erode margins or cause customer confusion, ensuring correct execution of price updates across all network points of sale.
Management of materials and promotional activations: Ensure that stores have the correct and updated promotional materials (POP, signage, product sheets), coordinating their timely distribution and verifying in the field that current promotions are correctly displayed and communicated to the sales team to guarantee impeccable execution on the floor.
FPD/Risk metrics tracking and control: Collect, analyze, and report First Payment Default (FPD) indicators and other credit risk metrics per store, identifying patterns or stores with atypical behavior, and collaborating with risk and operations teams to implement corrective actions that improve the quality of the portfolio originated at the point of sale.
Monitoring KPI compliance per store: Periodically track key commercial and operational KPIs for each store (conversion, average ticket, placement, inventory, price compliance, among others), generating performance reports that allow for identifying gaps, recognizing best practices, and proposing action plans to raise the execution standard across the entire network.
Field visits and operational audits: Perform regular store visits to audit the correct execution of commercial guidelines on-site, collect findings in a structured format, and provide direct feedback to store teams to reinforce compliance with PayJoy's operational standards.
Generation of reports and actionable insights: Consolidate inventory, pricing, promotions, FPD, and KPI information into dashboards or periodic executive reports directed to commercial and operations management, facilitating timely decision-making and the follow-up of improvement initiatives at the store network level.
Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams: Act as a liaison between store teams, supply chain, marketing, risk, and finance to ensure that commercial and operational processes are executed in a coordinated manner, resolving operational blockers and timely escalating situations that require attention from other business areas.
Requirements: Education: Completed Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Marketing, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: 2 years of experience in operations, inventory control, project auditing, or operational/financial KPI analysis roles.
Mastery of data analysis tools: Intermediate level in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas). Ability to interpret and present data clearly.
