Job Summary
Develop and manage project schedules for repair, conversion, and newbuild projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery. Monitor progress, identify risks, and communicate project status to clients through detailed reporting.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project schedules for short- and long-term repair, conversion, and newbuild projects to guide execution and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress and performance against established schedules to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Identify potential delays or risks in project execution and implement corrective actions to mitigate impact on delivery
- Analyze critical path activities and dependencies to optimize project timelines and resource utilization
- Estimate and prepare manpower histograms to support effective workforce planning for repair and conversion projects
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications to prepare and manage project documentation and communications
- Apply project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera, to create, update, and track project schedules
- Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly progress reports to clients, ensuring transparent communication of project status and issues
Job Requirements
Experience in project planning and scheduling is essential, typically ranging from 3 to 5 years in marine & offshore projects.
